For 110 years, the Princeton-Blairstown Center (PBC) and its predecessor organizations – the Princeton Summer Camp and the Princeton Education Center at Blairstown – have been providing meaningful outdoor adventure experiences for youth from under-served communities. In PBC’s earliest days, many young people from the Witherspoon-Jackson neighborhood of Princeton were the campers who came back year after year. Join this panel of former campers and staff to learn about their experiences at PBC and the impact it had on many lives, long after their time in Blairstown was over.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Kitsi Watterson, author of “I Hear My People Singing,” which includes reminiscences of times at Blairstown. Panelists include former campers John Broadway, Romus Broadway, Eric Craig, and Shirley Satterfield, and former Camp Director Everard “Ev” Pinneo.
