Princeton-Blairstown Center is pleased to again host a 7-day Wilderness First Responder certification course! It will be taught by Blue Mountain Medic with the WMA course curriculum.
WFR is the definitive wilderness course in medical training, leadership, and critical thinking for outdoor, low-resource, and remote professionals and leaders. Students’ successful completion of the course will result in WFR certification through Wilderness Medical Associates, International. The program is the ideal medical training for leaders in remote areas including outdoor educators, guides, military, professional search and rescue teams, researchers, and those involved in disaster relief. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical. It includes the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments for days and weeks if necessary.
Room and Board:
Lodging in heated rustic cabins with with separate modern washhouses. Please bring your own linens or sleeping bag/toiletries. We can accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, and other food allergies. Dietary restrictions need to be known before class begins. Lodging is available for the night before the class begins.
Registration Information:
Early bird extended– Register and pay by February 21, 2025
$850 onsite (lodging, meals and course). $750 commuting (class and lunch).
After February 21, the course fee increases to $900 for onsite and $800 for commuting students.
Last day to pay and register is Friday, March 7th if space is available..
